'Bad Boys 3' Pushed Back Nearly a Year, 'Bad Boys 4' Shelved
Joe Carnahan's Bad Boys for Life, the third film in the series, has been pushed back ten months, while the fourth film has been dropped off of the schedule entirely. Exhibitor Relations offers the news, revealing that Bad Boys for Life will now arrive November 8, 2018.
Originally, that was January 12, 2018. Bad Boys 4 was set up for May 24, 2019, which is a pretty short turnaround following the second sequel, but that has no release date at all anymore. That one makes sense, and might be a short term solution to the fact that Bad Boys for Life is now releasing just six months prior to its follow-ups originally slated release. The next film was originally set up for February 17 of this year.
