Ben Affleck Has His Say on the Possibility of Directing his Batman Solo Film
For a while rumours have been floating around that Ben Affleck may direct DC's undated solo Batman film. The actor has now directly responded to the question, stating that it's something "I'd be open to."
On whether he signed on to play the character for a chance to tell his own superhero stories, Affleck said "I'll just say going through the process, I would never have imagined that I could or would direct a movie like this.
And in working with [director Zack Snyder] and seeing what he did and watching him every day, I got really inspired by that and by seeing the scope on which he was telling the story, by seeing what he was able to do with this kind of mythic story on a grand scale."
The actor is excited at the prospect, though we'll have to settle for his acting chops for now, when Batman v Superman hits theaters in March.
