Kevin Feige Promises a Distinctly Different Marvel Cinematic Universe with Phase 4
No time is being wasted as Phase Three of Marvel''s Cinematic Universe gets underway in a few short weeks. The wheels are already spinning on Phase Four, however, which Kevin Feige says will be a very different Marvel universe.
Speaking with EW, Feige gave a vague comment regarding the fourth wave of Marvel films. “I think there will be a finality to moments of Phase Three, as well as new beginnings, that will mark a different, a very different, a distinctively different, chapter in what will someday be a complete first saga made up of three phases.”
It sounds like Phase Four is set up as a new beginning for the franchise, with Phase Three rounding out some sort of mega trilogy. Fans can expect characters like Iron Man and Thor and possibly even Captain America to get some well-deserved rest while new heroes take the spotlight going forward.
