Europe’s best actor as Doctor Hannibal Lecter

Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter. What an incredible choice. Any reservations about this series were taken away by his name. The star of last year’s The Hunt (review here) makes you forget Anthony Hopkins in a heartbeat. One thing is for sure: this isn’t a cheesy and over the top shadow of the Hannibal we all know.
