Marvel's 'The Runaways' TV Series Gains 'Iron Fist' Writer
Tamara Becher is jumping ship, but staying on the same side, going from Netflix's Iron Fist to the upcoming adaptation of Marvel's The Runaways, which will premiere on Hulu (coincidentally, a streaming rival to Netflix).
The writer confirmed the job on Twitter, posting an image of The Runaways: The Complete Collection - Volume One. "New gig, day one," the tweet reads.
Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will act as showrunners for the series. They'll also executive produce alongside Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb and Jim Cory.
The Runaways was created by Brian K. Vaughan and started in 2003. It follows a group of children who unite after they learn that their parents are secretly a part of a super-villain society.
