Matt Barr Signs on to Star in The CW's Pilot 'Valor'
Matt Barr of Sleepy Hollow will play the lead in The CW's upcoming military drama/conspiracy thriller pilot Valor, written by Kyle Jarrow and directed by Michael Robin.
The series will test the boundaries between military discipline and human desire on a U.S. military base housing an elite unit of helicopter pilots trained to perform international and domestic missions. Pilots Nora and Gallo (Barr), after a botched mission in Somalia that leaves two American servicemen in enemy hands, train for a rescue operation, and they share a large secret from the initial operation that must never come to the army's attention.
Barr's character is "an aging hipster meets flyboy."
