Our Final Predictions for the 2015 Oscar Nominations

JamesArthurArmstrong JamesArthurArmstrong The nominations for the 2015 Oscars will be announced at 5:30am PST, 8:30am EST and 1.30pm GMT on Thursday 15th January. For the first ever time, all 24 categories will be announced live, by directors J.J. Abrams, Alfonso Cuaron and actor Chris Pine with Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs. There will be a live stream of the announcements on The Oscars website.

Over the past few weeks we have been predicting our own nominations for categories such as Best Film, Best Actor/Actress, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor/Actress. With the nominations tomorrow morning, it's time for us to lock down our predictions for the top 10 categories.

The Academy can nominate between a minimum of 5 or a maximum of 10 movies for this category. We believe they will nominate a total of eight, which are;

• The Theory of Everything

• The Imitation Game

If the Academy decide to nominate 9 or even 10 movies, the best bets would be;
