JamesArthurArmstrong JamesArthurArmstrong Last night at the 2016 BET Awards, 'Straight Outta Compton' took home Best Movie in an entertaining evening that saw a touching tribute to Prince and a great opening performance from Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar.

The BET Awards celebrates the best of African Americans and other minorities in film, acting, music, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year.

The 'Empire' star said, “I’m really not political, but it’s serious out here.” She then referenced Trump, though not by name: “For those who think he’s not going to win, think again. We really need to pull together and turn this country around.”
